WMOB33

Timeless material

Our tiles are cast in the heart of an ancient flame

Five-thousand years ago, some inventive souls melted copper and tin together to create an astonishingly beautiful and durable material: bronze. Today, we do the same to give you some of the world’s finest metal tiles.

Timeless design

Our customers expect to live with our work for many years

We consider new designs for weeks and even months, until we identify the designs that resonate most deeply within us – the designs we believe will be the most lasting.

How we make our tiles

Timeless motifs
Fresh interpretations

Our designs respect tradition, while honoring 21st Century sensibilities.

We believe this is the best way to ensure our tiles will still look honest and beautiful for generations to come.

Carving the wax master

Our technique is thoughtful and refined

With few simple tools and a bunsen burner,
we carve each pattern by hand in our custom blend of sculptor’s wax.

We always bear in mind the unique qualities of bronze.

How we make our tiles

We take each tile through our ten-step refining process to give it the prized Foundry Art finish.

We buff the tiles, brush on a protective coat of wax, and hand-polish them the morning they are sent to you.
